Paint the Horizon White

There's a storm
on the wind
battle shield and sword
with a name
and paint
the
horizon
white
make a marker
at the ending
take away the word
uttered here
on the
edge of my
horizon
broken
storm
and lightning
and caged
in chains to the meaning
of the endings marked
by my mistake
vast and senseless
to be scarred
by the
cruel and
undesirable
echoes
of
thunder
Take my shield
Take the name
Take the hope within the rains
and break
all the windows
shattering
glass
on the
floors
of
life
and spark the clouds
my name in them
and erase the space by the wind
to end a war of stormy skies
paint
the
horizon
white
and colorless this emptiness
between the thunderclaps
for the name
on the tip
of the wind's tongue
is wrong
it caused the storm
again
