...it begins with the first recollection of before
a before with hope
with love
with trust
and the true essence of loyalty
and nightmares creep up to steal away the innocence of youth
it is within the mind that nightmares are born
but of what substance are they made from?
...it is from heroes that or devotion springs upward
with longevity
with love
and the true essence of loyalty
and from the saviors of our dreams we find the cornerstone of debt
it is from this we build the city of our illusions
but of what substance are the buildings made from?
...it is from reality that our delusions grow
out of fear
and doubt
and confusion
and a loss of innocence and trust
and the delusions become the reality we hide within
it is within this reality we escape from truth
but of what realities is truth made from?
...it is the recollection of the past the comes
with aging
and time
and courage
and a remembrance of loss and trust
and the recollections bring us to the darkest days
it is from these days we unlock our true selves
but of what realities is truth made from?
