Just today I, I, I was stuck trying
To see passed my wants
and to see what I need
but you're the one thing I cannot let go of
green eyes, and white hands, and whether I know of
a way to let you go, I can't
I am throwing up my hands
I must need you like the trees need the sun
I must need you like a wolf needs to run
I must need you like the air needs you to breathe
I must need you like the forest needs the trees
I must need you like the dandelion needs the breeze
I must need you like the air needs you to breathe
Yesterday I, I, I was left deciding
To let go of my wants
and learn what I need
but you're the one thing I always heard of
green eyes, white hands, a man among men of
courage and strength and grace
I know I've been forced to face
I must need you like the trees need the sun
I must need you like a wolf needs to run
I must need you like the air needs you to breathe
I must need you like the forest needs the trees
I must need you like dandelions needs the breeze
I must need you like the air needs you to breathe
I can't be me, without wanting to be -
what you need

Pale Wolf
"Wolf looks like a Sheep"
You might look like a sheep
but inside is something
of a predatory sort
A wolf, to ravish me
all done in sport
and while I'm asleep
you will stroke my hair,
and wait for my waking
You, wolf, take care
in primal undertaking
My body is not your game
but your reward
9/13/12
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
"Pale"
I often dream of pale hands
and dark masks
while wrestling my sheets
for they seem to pin me to
my bed
Like a spider's web I am
trapped
forever bound in this reality
and unable to awake in
the realm of dreams
where pale hands
undo me

Wolf
Undaunted is my pathways left behind
trails of snowy winter white
and not a second glance look back
for I am movement
ever gone
Take the wild and wintery flame
that burns behind these window panes
my eyes are secrets towards a place
unlike this new one
where dunes speak
I am the wolf in the lions den
and they are bright and fiery men
yet I remain the wild undaunted stealth
to move within the forest depths
Undaunted I in movement stalk
like a metal solider on his walk
all clad in white a dance of grace
below the snow twisted skies
this my home
I am the wolf in the lions den
The exotic fire in arid worlds of men
yet I remain the wild undaunted stealth
who moved within the forest depths
once long ago that place I roamed
a world of ice
not sand, nor stone
I am the wolf in the lions den
and wear my fur like a fingerprint
and they in golden gleaming gilded fire
know forests hide me
undaunted wild
